Ulster Camogie Underage blitz in Liatroim enjoys the last of the summer shine

It was off to Liatroim today, for possibly one of the last mainstream camogie blitzes of 2021. In attendance were St. Kevin’s, Liatroim and Ballycran.  The latter two teams managed to source two teams apiece and thus the organisers built up a table and games were played concurrently across two pitches.  We even managed to squeeze in a short training game between the respective Ballycran teams.  It was a beautiful day with hints of autumn in the air with wispy clouds rolling across the Mourne mountains and we couldn’t have asked for a better venue to play the blitz.

All teams played great camogie with fabulous displays of catching, striking, blocking and goal keeping.  Thanks to our coaches who have worked doubly hard this year and no doubt delighted with how the girls have come on this year.   Here’s a few photos from todays games.
