During the week, the heavy machinery rolled onto the indoor pitch in order to compact the stone floor. This will be followed up with an application of blinding (in construction terms, this is a layer of dusty stones, weak concrete or just sand), a tarmac top and finally the 3G finish.
Internally around the rest of the building, we have almost completed on the first fix of the plumbing and the floor insulation. On completion of this phase, the entire floor can be finished this week and that will make way for the electricians to schedule their works from Monday week. We are hopeful that the project is on track for a pre-Christmas finish.
