The Park was a hive of activity today with training, a friendly game and Championship matches. To be precise, we had a friendly Camogie match with Ballygalget and two hurling Championship matches at U15, again with Ballygalget and the next round of the Betsy Gray shield with Bredagh.
The day stayed dry and at times sunny with a brisk northerly breeze that should help to dry out pitches. The girls had a blast and thanks to Ballygalget for dropping in for the impromptu match. Hard luck to the U15 hurling squad, there were solid signs of real progression and more importantly, they all looked comfortable as a team and enjoying the match. Well done to Ballygalget, good luck going forward and thanks for an engaging game. Well done to our Betsy Gray shield squad that flipped a 2 point deficit within the last 4 minutes with a goal and a point for a 2 point win.
Here are a few pictures from the day, starting with the U8 Camogie girls, U15 hurlers and then the Betsy Gray. Results for both Championship games are on our fixtures & results page.
