Ronan Sheehan expresses sincere appreciation of the Club’s County involvement

Ballycran is pleased to share a recent correspondence from Ronan Sheehan, the manager of the County Senior hurling team, where Ronan expresses his sincere appreciation of our Club’s commitment to making sure the home County games are played with the highest standard of hospitality and venue preparedness.  We would like to thank Ronan for his kind words and will use these to motivate our various sub committees to continue to deliver a great Park experience for everyone.

“I just want to offer my thanks and that of my panel to Ballycran for facilitating our senior hurling games again in 2021, in what were again extraordinary circumstances for us all.

As always the Ballycran club had the pitch and facilities in great order for us and our panel as always had a warm welcome.

We were delighted to win all of our 3 home games and the last couple of years has certainly seen Ballycran become a fortress again for Down hurling.

We look forward to returning next year to Ballycran in the league and Mc Donagh cup with hopefully more quality games for the Gaels of Down to enjoy…..again my sincere thanks to all those who facilitated us in 2021.

Le meas

Ronan O Siochain”
